Complaints Policy
The work is ours, so a complaint about it is ours to fix. This page says where to send it and what happens next.
If something is wrong with the work
Tell us, as early as you can. Most roofing problems get worse and more expensive the longer they sit, and a job that is not right is easier to put right while we still have the detail fresh and the materials on hand.
Put it in writing if you can, so there is a record for both of us. A phone call is fine too — we will write it down at our end.
What to send us
- Roughly when the work was done, and what it was
- What is wrong, in your own words
- Whether anything has changed since — a storm, another trade on the roof
- What outcome you are looking for
- Photographs, if you have them
Send it to contact@tomballroofrepair.com or call (832) 761-4686.
What we do with it
- We acknowledge receipt so you know it did not vanish.
- We come back out and look, rather than settling it over the phone.
- We tell you what we found and what we are doing about it.
- Where the complaint is substantiated, we put it right at our own cost.
We aim to respond within a few business days. We would rather give you a real answer slightly later than a fast, empty one.
What we cannot do
- Take responsibility for work carried out by someone else, before us or after us.
- Settle a dispute over something we were never asked to look at.
- Provide legal advice or represent you.
Escalating beyond us
Texas does not license roofing contractors, so there is no state roofing board to appeal to. Consumer complaints go to the Office of the Texas Attorney General's consumer protection division. For a contract dispute, speak to an attorney. We will provide our records of the work if that helps you.
Complaining about us
If the complaint is about this website, our conduct, or how your details were handled rather than about the roof itself, send it to the same address and say so. It goes through the same process.
